What is DA Stud Welding?

Sparkweld Engineering is the dealer and supplier of Drawn Arc Stud Equipment which has very strong penetrative welds on materials of 2mm thickness & above and also known as ’DA stud welding’. Stud welding is utilized for fixing studs onto the parent material without making gaps.

Generally, for fixing studs and fasteners use drilling and tapping operations. Drawn Arc Stud Equipment is a fast and economical method of welding studs of various shapes and diameters onto the parent material.

DA products are the only choice for stud welding large diameters and they can tolerate surface curvature and imperfections such as light rust, grease, and scale.

The Drawn Arc stud welding process is suited to multi-gun applications which provide a supremely neat and controlled weld fillet. Additionally, these are examined stringently before final dispatch.
